Purge

To my eye the composition of this picture is odd, yet somehow works despite the fact that there was virtually no planning involved. I started by sketching Link transforming halfway into (or out of) his wolf form, but I didn't know what was really going on until I added Midna and decided on the exact setting and moment of the story (SPOILERS: Link gets to the Sacred Grove and finally removes the Shadow Stone lodged in his forehead through the power of the Master Sword, woo!). Mostly it was an experiment in painting techniques, so to that humble end, it turned out decently enough.
